When the story of Starbucks’ less than family friendly work scheduling practices broke in the New York Times a few weeks ago, it got me thinking about how flexibility at work has to be a two way street. For a scheduling system to truly benefit your business, you have to take the needs of your workforce into account. Here’s my take on the issue, in Hospitatlity Magazine.
